WordPress
WordPress is my blogging platform of choice. There are others out there, but I love the functionality and ease of use that WordPress provides. Not to mention these guys are also very responsive. Simply sign up for your host provider and choose WordPress in the dashboard. Learn how to start your blog here
MailChimp
I didn’t start collecting emails for my blog until earlier this year and definitely have missed out on awesome followers being subscribed. Mailchimp is easy to use and is a great tool to start out with (the first 2,000 subscribers are free).
Constant Contact
I started out using Mailchimp initially to collect emails for my blog but recently decided to switch to Constant Contact. After reading so many great reviews, I’m glad I’ve chosen to make the switch. It has great tools to add into your blog to make collection of followers easier, and the automated emails and new campaigns are super easy to use! Start building your audience today.
Tailwind
Once you write your blog, you need to get traffic to it. After you put in all the work to write good quality content, design beautiful graphics, and put it out into the world, you want people to see it! Pinterest has been one of my top traffic drivers. But who has time to pin all day long?? Nobody, that’s who! That is where Tailwind comes in. Tailwind will allow you to pre-schedule TONS of pins out (both yours and other users’ content) so that your Pinterest account has constant activity, is driving new, qualified traffic to your site, and is creating opportunities for helping others and converting if you are monetizing your blog through useful tips and tools.
Wunderlist
Bad at keeping track of tasks for your blog? Wunderlist is the greatest! I have added the phone app as well so my lists are constantly synced up and correct. Make a List
